Community Guidelines

Last updated: April 14, 2026

BlackWhiteMatch is a community built on respect, inclusion, and genuine connection. These guidelines help ensure our platform remains safe and welcoming for everyone. By using our service, you agree to follow these standards.

1. Our Commitment

At BlackWhiteMatch, we believe that love transcends boundaries. Our community was built on the conviction that cross-cultural connections make us stronger, open our minds, and enrich our lives. We are committed to creating a space where every person feels valued, respected, and safe — regardless of their race, ethnicity, background, or identity.

Diversity is not just tolerated here; it is celebrated. We designed this platform specifically for people who understand that the best relationships are built on genuine curiosity about other cultures, not prejudice against them. Our members come from all walks of life, and that diversity is what makes our community special.

These guidelines exist to protect the warmth and trust that define BlackWhiteMatch. When you join us, you become part of something meaningful — a community where people can be authentic, where discrimination has no place, and where real connections can flourish. We ask that you help us protect this by treating every member with the dignity they deserve.

2. Authentic Profiles

Authenticity is the foundation of meaningful connection. On BlackWhiteMatch, real people deserve real conversations. Every profile should reflect who you truly are — your genuine interests, your honest self, and the real face you present to the world.

Your profile must use your real identity. This means using your actual name (or a clear nickname if that is your preference), not someone else's identity. Impersonating celebrities, influencers, or any other person is not only a violation of these guidelines — it is disrespectful to the community we are building together. Catfishing — creating a deceptive profile with photos or information that do not represent you — is strictly prohibited.

Your photos must be recent and clearly of you. Using heavily filtered images that obscure your appearance, or posting photos of someone else (a model, a celebrity, an ex-partner), undermines the trust that makes our community work. We encourage members to complete our verification process, which earns you a trust badge and signals to others that your profile has been confirmed as authentic. Verified profiles receive more meaningful connections and report higher success rates.

Finally, one account per person. Multiple accounts, duplicate profiles, and accounts operated by third parties undermine the integrity of our community. If you have a reason to need a second account (such as accessibility needs), please contact our support team and we will work with you to find a solution.

3. Respectful Behavior

BlackWhiteMatch was created to bring people together across cultural boundaries. That mission only succeeds when every member treats others with genuine respect and kindness. This is not optional — it is the price of admission to our community. There is no profile, no photograph, no conversation starter attractive enough to justify treating another person with disrespect.

Harassment, bullying, and intimidation have no place here. If a conversation turns sour, if you feel rejected, if someone is not interested — handle it with grace. Aggressive, controlling, or threatening behavior will result in an immediate ban. Persistent unwanted contact — sending repeated messages after someone has expressed disinterest, or reaching out to someone who has asked you to stop — is a serious violation that we take seriously.

As an interracial dating platform, we hold our members to a higher standard regarding discrimination and hate speech. Any message, profile content, or behavior that demeans someone based on their race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, or cultural background is strictly prohibited. This includes racial slurs, racist stereotypes, disparaging remarks about someone's accent or heritage, and any content that suggests a person is less worthy because of who they are. Racism and discrimination will result in an immediate, permanent ban — there is no warning, no appeal that will reverse it, and no second chances. We make no exceptions.

Additionally, never send unsolicited explicit messages or images. Consent matters deeply in our community. If someone shares with you that they are comfortable with a certain level of intimacy in conversation, that is their choice to make. Never assume, and never push. Respect boundaries, accept rejection gracefully, and remember that behind every profile is a real person who deserves to feel safe.

4. Prohibited Content

To keep BlackWhiteMatch safe for everyone, the following types of content are strictly prohibited and will be removed immediately upon discovery. Profiles or accounts that post such content will face enforcement action up to and including permanent bans.

  • Nudity and sexually explicit material: Do not post, share, or request nude or sexually explicit photos, videos, or content. This is not the environment for that — we are here to build genuine connections, not facilitate exploitation.
  • Violence and graphic content: Images or descriptions depicting violence, self-harm, bodily injury, or gore have no place on our platform. This includes threatening others or glorifying violent acts.
  • Self-harm and suicide content: We take the wellbeing of our members seriously. Content that promotes, encourages, or depicts self-harm or suicide will be removed. If you are struggling, please reach out to a mental health professional or a crisis line in your country.
  • Illegal activity: Do not post content depicting or promoting illegal acts, including but not limited to drug use, weapons trafficking, human trafficking, or any criminal activity. We cooperate fully with law enforcement when required.
  • Exploitation and minors: Any content involving the exploitation or abuse of minors is absolutely prohibited and will result in an immediate permanent ban and a report to law enforcement authorities.
  • Spam and malicious content: Do not use our platform to distribute spam, phishing links, malware, or any content designed to harm or exploit other users.
  • Commercial solicitation: BlackWhiteMatch is for personal connections, not business. Advertising products, services, or paid companionship is prohibited. Do not use our platform to solicit money, financial information, or commercial services from other members.
  • Deceptive content: Content designed to mislead — including misleading profile information, scam narratives, romance scams, or any form of fraudulent activity — will be removed and result in an immediate ban.

5. Staying Safe

Your safety is our top priority, and we work hard to keep BlackWhiteMatch secure. However, no platform can guarantee complete safety — which is why we want to empower you with practical knowledge to protect yourself while building connections. Dating can be wonderful, but it always pays to be thoughtful and cautious, especially when you are getting to know someone new.

Take things slow and keep early conversations within the app. Our messaging system is designed to protect you. Until you feel genuinely comfortable with someone and have verified they are who they say they are, keep conversations on BlackWhiteMatch. This gives you an extra layer of security and a record of your conversations should you need to reference them later.

When you decide to meet in person, always choose a public place for the first few dates. A coffee shop, a restaurant, a busy park — somewhere with other people around and easy exit options. Meet during the day if possible, and make sure your date knows you are meeting them in a public space. Tell a friend or family member where you are going, who you are meeting, and when you expect to be home. Consider sharing your live location with someone you trust on the day of your date.

Never send money or share financial information with anyone you have not met in person and built a real, trusted relationship with. Scammers often target dating platforms, and they are sophisticated — they may take weeks or months to build trust before asking for money. If anyone on BlackWhiteMatch asks you for money, for gift cards, for financial assistance of any kind, that is a scam. Report it immediately and cease contact.

Trust your instincts. If something feels off — if a story does not add up, if someone avoids video calls, if they pressure you to move too fast — listen to that feeling. You are never obligated to continue a conversation or a relationship that makes you uncomfortable. Report suspicious behavior to us at support@blackwhitematch.net — your report helps us protect other members of our community.

6. Reporting Violations

If you encounter behavior or content that violates these guidelines, we ask you to speak up. Reporting is not overreacting — it is how we keep our community safe. Every report helps us identify problems faster and protect the people in our care. You can make a real difference in someone's experience on BlackWhiteMatch by taking a few moments to report.

To report a profile or message, use the in-app report button available on every profile and message thread. Simply tap the report icon, select the reason that best describes the violation, and submit. Our trust and safety team receives these reports immediately and reviews them promptly. If you prefer, you can also report directly by emailing support@blackwhitematch.net — please include as much detail as possible, including usernames, message content, and any screenshots that support your report.

All reports are treated with strict confidentiality. We understand that reporting can feel vulnerable, especially if the inappropriate behavior came from someone with whom you had a connection. We want you to know that your privacy is protected, and retaliation against reporters is itself a violation of our guidelines and will result in immediate enforcement action.

In addition to reporting, you can block any user instantly through the app. Blocking someone prevents them from viewing your profile, messaging you, or seeing any of your activity. If you feel unsafe at any point, blocking should be your first step — you do not need to wait for a report to be reviewed before protecting yourself.

7. Enforcement

BlackWhiteMatch takes enforcement seriously. When our guidelines are violated, we respond — and we respond proportionally. Our goal is always to correct behavior and protect our community, not to punish unnecessarily. However, we will not hesitate to take strong action when someone's behavior puts others at risk.

Our enforcement approach is progressive in most cases:

  • First violations (such as a moment of rudeness, an unthoughtful message, or a profile that needs correction): You will receive a warning and the offending content will be removed. We believe in giving people the chance to understand what they did wrong and do better.
  • Repeated or escalating violations: Continued violations after a warning will result in a temporary suspension of your account. During this period, you will not be able to use BlackWhiteMatch, and we hope the break gives you time to reflect on how your behavior affects others.
  • Severe violations: Certain violations are so serious that we skip the warning process entirely. Racism, discrimination, hate speech, exploitation, violence, illegal activity, and any content involving minors will result in an immediate permanent ban. There are no second chances for these violations — they are fundamentally at odds with the values of our community.

We use a combination of automated detection systems and human review to identify and respond to violations. Our automated systems flag potentially harmful content for review by our trust and safety team, who make careful decisions based on context. In cases involving serious safety risks, imminent threats, or illegal activity, we reserve the right to report the matter to law enforcement authorities.

8. Appeals

We believe enforcement decisions should be fair and transparent. If you believe your account was suspended or banned in error, or if there were circumstances you feel we should consider, you have the right to appeal. We want to make sure that no one is penalized unfairly, and sometimes context matters in ways our systems cannot detect.

To submit an appeal, please email support@blackwhitematch.net with the subject line "Account Appeal." In your email, include your username, a brief description of the enforcement action taken, and any context or explanation you believe is relevant. Were there extenuating circumstances? Was there a misunderstanding? Did someone else have access to your account? The more detail you provide, the better equipped we are to make a fair decision.

Our trust and safety team reviews all appeals, and we aim to respond within 7 business days. Please note that appeals for severe violations — including racism, discrimination, hate speech, and exploitation — have limited grounds for reversal given the seriousness of these offenses. However, we review every submission carefully and will reconsider if new information warrants it.

If your appeal is successful, your account will be reinstated and you will be able to use BlackWhiteMatch again. If your appeal is denied, you will receive a clear explanation of why, and that decision is final for the current enforcement action. Repeated violations after an appeal denial will result in escalated enforcement, including permanent bans.
